United Family Church began with a simple desire: to be a loving, family‑oriented church where people can grow in God’s Word and live it out together. Under the leadership of Pastor Paul & Pastor Evie Kendall, we’ve seen God build a multigenerational community that serves one another and our city. Whether you’re exploring faith or returning to church, there’s a place for you here.

Our Faith

What We Believe

We hold to historic, biblical Christianity. Below is a short summary; you can read our full beliefs and bylaws at the end.

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God—the final authority for what we believe and how we live.

God

There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal.

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return.

The Holy Spirit

The Spirit draws people to Jesus, brings new life, and empowers believers to live holy and serve with spiritual gifts.

Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus—turning from sin and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. This new life is evidenced by growth in Christlike character.

Water Baptism & Communion

Baptism in water is a public declaration of faith. Communion remembers Christ’s death and resurrection for us.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Believers can experience Spirit baptism for power to witness and serve; in Pentecostal practice, speaking in tongues is a common initial evidence.

Divine Healing

We pray for the sick, believing God heals today according to His will—through prayer, wisdom, and medical care.

The Church

The Church is God’s family on mission—worshiping, learning the Word, serving one another, and sharing Jesus with the world.

Christ’s Return

Jesus will return as King to judge the living and the dead and make all things new. Our hope shapes how we live now.

Marriage, Sexuality & Family

We affirm God’s design for marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman and the call to sexual integrity. We welcome every person with grace and invite all to the transforming freedom found in Christ.

Human Dignity

Every person is made in God’s image and worthy of love, honor, and compassion—before and after they believe.

LEADERSHIP

Pastor Paul Kendall — Senior Pastor

For over 40 years, Pastor Paul has taught the Bible with clarity and a heart for families. He’s served as a pastor, author (The Marriage Miracle), and radio host ("Family Matters"), and is credentialed with the Assemblies of God. His passion is helping people know Jesus and build strong, grace‑filled homes.
